2019 September tank farm



Troop 2860's September event is the Tank Farm campout.

2019 Tank Farm Campout




The Signup for the Tank Farm Camp is a two step process:

Step One:
Print out the Permission Slip
Complete the required information, sign  and date as needed 
Bring it to a Troop meeting on a Tuesday before the September 21st campout.
Step two:
Pay for the trip at the Troop's online web store 
which can be found here.

Make sure you complete the name field or we will have no idea who signed up.


September 7th - 8th 2019
  • The scouts will be serving the "Event Volunteers" Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • The scouts will do patrol cooking for Dinner on Saturday.
  • There are food trucks for lunch, so bring money for lunch .
  • Sunday we be serving lunch to the "Event Volunteers" and will stay till after lunch, so again bring money for lunch.
  • We will meet at the overflow parking lot at 8:00 AM on the 7th and then return on Sunday the 8th around 2:00 PM.
  • Cost will be $15.00 per scout or adult leader.

The Tank Farm is an adventure were the scouts will get to see
 extraordinary collection of over 100 operational vehicles from WWI to the modern era. These vehicles serve as a fitting backdrop for the stories of America’s men and women in uniform. The vehicles will be on display and used for live-action demonstrations. Some of the vehicles include the following, plus many more:
