2009 Kiptopeke Campout

KIPTOPEKE September 11th.

Get ready for a great end of summer fun.

We will have sign up sheets at the next meeting. Please let us know as soon as you can if you are planning on coming. Remember that this is a family camp out so all family members are invited. We will need to get a head count as soon as possible. Troop 860 will provide Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Sunday we will have a light breakfast.

The plan is to have family members bring a dish for all to share or pay a small fee to eat with the troop. If you are coming and you want to prepare and feed your own family, we’ll need to know that too.  Ether way we need to know your choice.

We need to know if you are coming. Did I mention, we need to know if you are going on this camp out?

We are making plans for all the food we will need for all the meals so please let us know how many are going.  Comprendo? E-mail me mrsatalino@troop860.org or sign up at the next meeting.

Attached is the web site for more information on Kiptopeke state park.

There will be boat rides, tubing, kayaking, and fishing.

If you own a fishing rod, bring it. If you don’t, we will have plenty on hand for your use.

We will have bait and adult instructors to help you catch fish all day long.

Volunteers are needed to help with 2 more stations. please let me know if you can help. (I will be at one of them).

We need to know who is bringing motor boats and a count on how many kayaks will be available. I will have a sign up sheet for you to register your craft at the next meeting. Please come see me or e-mail me if you will be bringing a watercraft.

That should be it for now. More to come later.

Mike Satalino.
